Application Forms and Fees
To join the Dayboro Scout Group, the application form needs to be completed and submitted to either the relevant Section Leader or the Group Leader. This form and other forms can be found on our “Forms and Downloads” page
Fees are structured as follows:-
Branch Membership Fee – Each member joining the Scout movement, pays a yearly branch membership fee upon commencement. Details on membership fees are outlined here. This is the amount that is to be listed on the membership application form.
As part of the yearly membership fee for each of our members, personal accident insurance is taken into account. Should an accident occur and the family would like to claim against the personal accident insurance, they are to contact the Branch Support Office. As with all insurances there is an excess, the Scout personal accident insurance is no different, the excess for this policy is $500.00 that is to be paid by the family submitting the claim.
Family Dayboro Den Fee – $50.00 per term per family. We are more than happy for you to pay this in instalments at the beginning of each term. This money goes towards the running of the den paying for things such as water, electricity, insurance etc. Our Treasurer will create a family account upon signup.
$2.00 weekly subs – this money is collected by each section, this money is used to provide resources to the section/group for the children to use.
Some activities such as camps are charged outside of the above fees, to cover the cost of food, camp fees if applicable etc. The costs are known prior to you committing to attend.
