SSS 2016

The 2016 Scouts Skills Section (SSS) willl be held at BP Park, Samford from the 1st to the 4th July (Winter school holidays).

SSS is a 4 day / 3 night Patrol camp held at BP Park in the winter school holidays. This year it will be held from the 1st July to the 4th July 2016. It is open to all Queensland Scout Patrols.

On offer over the weekend will be a wide range of activity bases and evening entertainment along with a visit to Gang Show. Activities are still being fine tuned some come back soon for an update.

On Saturday evening Patrols will invite a Leader that they don’t know to come and have dinner with them.

Application to attend SSS is different to last year, each Scout needs to register online.

Big changes are afoot for the application process for this years SSS. There will no longer be an expression of interest . Scouts and Leaders will be able to apply through the application system on the Branch website. The applications will be opening on the 1st of April and closing on the 10th of June. This will be a hard close so theres no more leaving it to the very last minute. Applications will be limited to the first 140 patrols.  So it is imperative to register online ASAP.

SSS costs $50 per scouts plus food etc.  We are budgeting on approximately $100 in total per scout.

Once you have submitted registration, please let me know so I can ensure we have enough for two patrols.

I would like to see registrations in by 30th April 2016, please let me know if you will not be able to do this.  You will need your Scouts member number, if you do not know this please let me know and I will send it through.
